Over the past couple of years, I have had the privilege and opportunity to travel to various countries around the world. Traveling has shown me the vast diversity in our globe and has taught me that, despite cultural and geographical differences, people globally share many commonalities. My mind has become more open in accepting and celebrating differences. Professionally, my global perspective has increased my understanding of people and human connections, even when they are in contrast to my American upbringing. Traveling has afforded me the ability to observe and interact with many different cultures and has shown me the great beauty of our planet Earth.
